For this concentration piece, I don't have in progress pictures because I did it all in one day. It's based on this journal entry I did: "In a car full of demons." It's a picture of my dad's car with a demon driving it down the road. I did the piece on linen panel in acrylic. I think it turned out pretty well for something I did in such short time. I would like to go in and add stuff later, when I have more time.

This is a painting I did pretty fast of a picture my dad took when he was younger. I used acrylic on a canvas panel. It's a church he went to at Christmas. I thought it fit with one of my poems, so I painted it. It's kind of crooked in the picture he took, so I did it that way in the painting, but I don't know if that translates well. I do think it looks okay, but I would like to clean up some of the areas.
For this concentration piece, I used the same blood orange picture that I used for the piece with my mom and her parents. I wanted to repeat that symbol into another piece. I did the orange in oil paint on wood, and it was kind of hard to get the paint to stay on the wood.
This is from a picture I took the same night I wrote a journal entry. It's of one of the flowers in my garden. I used oil on a 5x7 canvas, and I think it looks really nice. I tried to repeat some of the flower symbolism I used in my 3rd concentration by doing this piece. I think it ties some things together.
For this piece, I did a portrait of my sister with a different color palette. I used oil over acrylic and an 11x14 canvas. I plan on going back in and adding things, and I wanted to do something with wire.
